Smells Like Chocolates!

My roommate & I traveled to Birmingham, which is about 2 hours and 30 minutes away from London, all for one thing! Chocolates. I am not a fan of chocolates myself, but I thought Cadbury World sounded like a fun, daytrip-worthy place. From Birmingham, a 15-minute train ride to a small town called Bournville & this is where Cadbury World is!

Literally, the train station and the bridge and the fences leading to the Cadbury World (which is about a 10-minute walk) is all purple and screams Cadbury.

Cadbury World made me feel like a kid all over again. For someone who doesn’t enjoy chocolates, I had such an amazing time. The 3-hour tour is surprisingly only worth 14 pounds & 3 candy bars you get for free at the beginning of the admission made the trip even better. 🙂

Cadbury World consists of 14 zones ranging from stories, a ride, a theatre, manufacturing, samples, process, etc. Here’s the website! PRESSLINK*
& what’s surprising is that ALL this indoors. I felt like I was in a huge indoor maze.
Also, apart from the Cadbury building, they built this new little branch called Essence, where they explained more about how Cadbury began & they had a sampling room where you can either choose biscuits, rice crispies, marshmellows, jelly babies, nuts &… I forgot. 🙂 But they give you whichever topping you choose in a cup of melted chocolate. This was the last free chocolate sample they gave us & after this, I’ve never had so much chocolate in my life!

A very sweet day 🙂

Ps. Purchase the tickets for Cadbury World online & get a 5% discount by putting in the promo code ‘web’ 🙂 It saved me like $.70, but still! Better than nothing?
